It's time we had a proper hard Dubstep chune up on the blog. She's Got Moves pairs up Newham Gennie's Footsie and the ever versatile Doorly on the buttons. The production is unquestionably heavy and would likely be classed as 2-Step or Garage if it weren't for the Grime vocal. To yours, it sounds a bit reminiscent of certain Grime tunes circa 2007-08 smarted up with stereo wide bass stabs and Benga-like Detroit sonar. The track appeared previously on April's customary Addicted to Bass 2011 Ministry compilation and again earlier this month on Doorly's own Pigeonhole This! label along with three less impressive works. Sure enough, there has been some dispute over this song's musical traits, which is ultimately laughable considering it's relatively simple construction. The other key element that makes She's Got Moves a winner is Footsie's meta-bars (now I'm asking for it) which offer up a club-dream scenario one might encounter while listening to this song in the club etc. etc. Look here for a chance to do just that.
